| ‘Grave for Nothing’, marks an important landmark in the artistic
collaboration between the Delhi based artist, Sanjeev Sinha and
Amsterdam based contemporary artist, Dianne Hagen.
It is the culmination...or perhaps, more appropriately, the confluence
of two uniquely individual streams of artistic and aesthetic
consciousness that quietly subverts the set notions of race, borders,
gender and the purpose and practice of contemporary art itself, one
brush stroke at a time, on a shared canvas. Together they produced a
vast array of works that deal with the issues of contemporary power
relations between ideologies, states, races, economy, culture, gender
and spirituality.
The show is jointly curated by JohnyML & Elizabeth Rogers.
