| New Delhi based photographer, Samar Jodha presents a compelling portrait of the Tai Phake people from the village of Phaneng in Upper Assam. His exhibition titled – ‘Phaneng: A Journey into Personal Engagement’, showcases Samar’s continued involvement over the last few years, both as an artist and a humanist, with this endangered tribal group. The works in this show are a series of 12 very large scale black and white photographs shot on location with a large format camera. |
